This role requires strong understanding of MEP systems to ensure proper integration and coordination.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Design ManagementReview and approve ELV system designs, specifications, and technical submittalsCoordinate closely with architects, MEP consultants, and specialized ELV consultantsEnsure MEP-ELV integration including power requirements, cable routing, and equipment mountingEnsure full compliance with local building codes, international standardsValidate system integration and interoperability requirements across all building systemsConduct design optimization reviews for cost-effectiveness and future scalabilityReview MEP drawings for ELV infrastructure requirements and clash avoidance2. Project Planning & CoordinationDevelop comprehensive ELV implementation schedules with critical milestonesCoordinate execution among multiple ELV contractors, vendors, and system integratorsIntegrate with MEP installation schedules to ensure proper sequencing and accessManage complex interface requirements between different ELV systems and building infrastructurePlan and schedule all testing, commissioning, and validation activitiesCoordinate ELV rough-in with MEP rough-in activities and structural work3. Quality Control & ComplianceConduct thorough design reviews and technical audits at each project phaseMonitor installation quality and workmanship through regular site inspectionsVerify MEP-ELV coordination during installation phasesEnsure strict adherence to approved project specifications and drawingsValidate system performance against contractual requirements and industry benchmarksImplement quality assurance protocols and corrective action procedures4. Vendor & Contractor ManagementEvaluate and select qualified ELV contractors and technology suppliersManage contractor performance through KPIs and regular performance reviewsCoordinate seamlessly between multiple system integrators, specialty contractors, and MEP tradesResolve technical disputes and system interface issues promptlyEnsure contractual compliance and delivery commitmentsFacilitate MEP-ELV contractor coordination meetings7. Testing & CommissioningDrive comprehensive testing protocols as set by Commissioning Authority (CxA) manager and client requirementsCoordinate with MEP commissioning activities for integrated systemsOversee Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for all major ELV equipmentSupervise Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and witness testing proceduresManage integrated system testing across multiple platforms and MEP interfacesEnsure complete handover documentation including O&M manuals, warranties, and training recordsFacilitate user training and system demonstration sessions8.
