We are looking for an experienced Civil Site Engineer to oversee and manage infrastructure projects across various government departments. The candidate should have more than five years of site experience and a strong background in handling public sector projects.

The role involves supervising construction activities, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and coordinating with multiple agencies including PWD, CPWD, DSIIDC, MCD, DDA, and the Irrigation and Flood Control Department. The ideal candidate must be familiar with government procedures, technical standards, and documentation requirements. Strong communication and project management skills are essential for effective coordination and timely execution of works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise civil construction projects as per drawings, BOQs, CPWD specifications, and approved contracts.
  • Ensure full compliance with CPWD norms, GCC, NIT provisions, and statutory codes across all projects.
  • Liaise effectively with government officers and agencies for project approvals, inspections, and certifications.
  • Develop project schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Prepare detailed project budgets, cost estimates, and implement cost control strategies.
  • Oversee quality assurance of materials, work execution, and adherence to safety protocols on-site.
  • Review technical drawings, design documents, and ensure execution aligns with specifications and client expectations.
  • Maintain project documentation, billing, and provide regular progress reports to management.
  • Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and vendors for smooth project execution and issue resolution.
  • Lead risk management strategies, drive cost optimization, and ensure effective stakeholder communication.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on site experience in public infrastructure projects.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of CPWD norms, GCC, NIT, IS codes, tendering processes, and BOQ preparation.
  • Strong liaisoning, negotiation, and communication skills with government officials and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, MS Project/Primavera, and project management tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, resolve conflicts, and deliver projects under tight deadlines.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
  • Thorough understanding of construction methods, building materials, and safety regulations.
