Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead design, execution, and management of infrastructure and geomatics-related projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, site supervision, project planning, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are executed efficiently, within scope, budget, and timelines, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects such as roads, highways, drainage, buildings, and land development.
- Review and approve technical drawings, designs, and specifications.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders for timely project delivery.
- Supervise construction activities, ensuring compliance with design, safety, and quality standards.
- Conduct site inspections, survey verification, and progress reporting.
- Collaborate with geomatics and GIS teams to integrate survey data into engineering designs.
- Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to project teams.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and environmental regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Education: B.E./B.Tech (Civil Engineering) from a recognized institution; M.E./M.Tech preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 7–10 years of experience in civil infrastructure projects.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD Pro, and MS Project/Primavera.
- Strong understanding of surveying, geomatics, and GIS integration.
- Knowledge of IRC, IS codes, and MoRTH specifications.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in highway and road design, land development, or municipal infrastructure projects.
- Exposure to LiDAR, drone surveying, or remote sensing applications.
- Familiarity with government and private tendering processes.
