Job Title: Civil Engineer Quantity Surveying (QS)

Location: New Delhi, India

Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years

About the Role:

We are looking for a competent and detail-oriented Civil Engineer with a strong Quantity Surveying (QS) background to join our team in Delhi. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in cost estimation, quantity take-offs, BOQs, tender documentation, and site coordination for civil and interior projects, preferably in commercial, hospitality, or high-end residential sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates for civil and interior projects.
  • Review drawings and specifications to ensure alignment with cost and execution plans.
  • Assist in preparation of tenders, bid evaluations, and contract documentation.
  • Monitor project budgets, track variations, and prepare monthly cost reports.
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, suppliers, and project managers to ensure timely procurement and execution.
  • Evaluate and negotiate change orders, claims, and cost variations.
  • Maintain updated records of project costs, budgets, and reconciliations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with a focus on quantity surveying and cost control.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project, and quantity surveying software (e.g., Candy, CostX, etc.).
  • Solid knowledge of construction methods, materials, and market rates in Delhi NCR.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience with malls, IT parks and group housing.
  • Familiarity with Delhi NCR vendors, contractors, and local building regulations.
  • Certification in QS or cost management will be a plus.
