Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable MIG Welding Fabricator to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have experience in MIG welding and metal fabrication, with a strong focus on accuracy, quality, and safety. You will be responsible for reading technical drawings, preparing metal components, and welding structures to specification.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform MIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and other metals as required

Fabricate and assemble metal components using tools such as grinders, saws, and presses

Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications

Measure, cut, and prepare materials with accuracy

Inspect welded surfaces for quality and structural soundness

Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment

Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines

Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment as needed

Requirements:

Proven experience as a MIG Welder or Fabricator

Strong understanding of MIG welding techniques and safety standards

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics

Skilled in using hand and power tools related to metal fabrication

Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials, stand for long periods, and work in industrial settings

High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Relevant welding certification or trade qualification preferred

Preferred Skills:

Experience with TIG or stick welding

Forklift or crane operation certification

Experience working with jigs, fixtures, and custom fabrication

Familiarity with CNC machinery or laser cutting (if applicable)
