Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled MIG (Metal Inert Gas) Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for joining, fabricating, and repairing metal and other weldable materials by applying appropriate welding techniques. This role requires precision, safety awareness, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform MIG welding to manufacture and repair metal components.

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specifications.

Set up welding machines and select appropriate welding equipment/settings.

Inspect welded surfaces and structures to ensure quality and compliance with standards.

Grind, clean, and polish welds as needed.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Follow all safety procedures and wear protective equipment.

Collaborate with other team members, such as fabricators, machinists, and supervisors.

Report material needs or equipment issues to supervisors.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a MIG welder or in a similar welding role.

Ability to read and understand technical documents and blueprints.

Strong knowledge of welding equipment and tools.

Physical stamina and manual dexterity.

Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Knowledge of safety standards and OSHA regulations.

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or welding certification is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with other welding methods (TIG, Stick, Arc) is a plus.

Familiarity with metal fabrication processes.

Forklift or crane operation certification (if applicable).
