Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. As a Welder, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling metal structures and components, ensuring high-quality standards are met.

Duties

  • Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW, and Stick welding on various materials including sheet metal and pipes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to fabricate components according to design requirements.
  • Conduct quality checks using calipers and micrometers to ensure precision in measurements.
  • Assemble metal parts using welding techniques while adhering to ASME codes & standards.
  • Operate cranes and forklifts safely for transporting materials within the construction site or manufacturing facility.
  • Execute pipe threading and ductwork installation as required by project specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety protocols at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Experience

  • Proven experience in welding within a construction or manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with fabrication processes and mechanical knowledge is essential.
  • Experience with machining, soldering, plasma cutting, press brake machines, and rigging is a plus.
  • Basic math skills are necessary for accurate measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks.
