Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Linux System Administrator (Fresher) to join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of Linux fundamentals, command-line operations, and basic networking concepts. You will assist senior administrators in managing and maintaining Linux-based servers, ensuring high system uptime, and providing technical support to internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux servers (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL, Debian).
  • Perform basic user management, file permissions, and system monitoring.
  • Support senior administrators in server patching, updates, and backups.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
  • Maintain documentation of server configurations and procedures.
  • Learn and support web servers (Apache, Nginx) and database servers (MySQL, PostgreSQL) as required.
  • Support network troubleshooting and connectivity checks.
  • Participate in learning and implementing automation tools (Shell scripting, Ansible) over time.

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of Linux OS architecture and commands.
  • Familiarity with command-line tools (vi, grep, ps, top, chmod, chown, etc.).
  • Knowledge of network basics – IP addressing, SSH, DNS, ping, traceroute.
  • Understanding of file systems, process management, and system logs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication and willingness to learn new technologies.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹8, ₹37,258.18 per month
