Description : We are seeking a talented and diligent Linux System Administrator to maintain, support, and optimize our companys networked computer systems and servers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless system performance, high availability, and robust security across all environments.The role involves installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining both hardware and software systems. A strong grasp of Linux environments, basic AWS management, and network troubleshooting is essential.Key Responsibilities : - Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems, servers, and applications.- Manage network servers, storage systems, and related infrastructure.- Set up and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access controls.- Monitor system performance, identify issues, and ensure optimal uptime and reliability.- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking problems.- Implement and maintain system security measures, including firewalls, updates, and backups.- Perform system upgrades, including patches, kernel updates, and hardware refreshes.- Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation and system monitoring.- Collaborate with teams to ensure smooth deployment of applications and infrastructure changes.- Provide technical support and training to internal users on new technologies and processes.Required Skills & Qualifications : - Strong knowledge of Linux administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, or Red Hat).- Proficiency with basic Linux commands, OS installation, and package management.- Familiarity with AWS fundamentals and cloud-based infrastructure.- Experience with network troubleshooting (LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, routing, etc.).- Hands-on knowledge of hardware setup, diagnostics, and maintenance.- Understanding of databases, network protocols, and patch management.- Knowledge of system security tools, intrusion detection, and data backup/recovery.- Familiarity with Windows Server administration is a plus.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
