Job Title: Restaurant Manager – Fine Dine Restaurant

Location: Chandni Chowk, New Delhi

Department: Food & Beverage Operations

Reports To: General Manager / F&B Director

Job Summary:

The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a fine dining restaurant, ensuring an exceptional guest experience, maintaining high service standards, managing staff performance, and driving profitability. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in luxury or fine dining operations, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of food & beverage service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations & Service Management

  • Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service flow.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service etiquette.
  • Ensure compliance with all hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Manage reservations, table allocations, and guest preferences effectively.

2. Guest Experience & Relations

  • Deliver a personalized and memorable dining experience for all guests.
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Build a loyal clientele by anticipating guest needs and ensuring repeat business.

3. Team Management & Training

  • Lead, train, and motivate the restaurant team to achieve service excellence.
  • Conduct regular briefings and service training sessions for staff.
  • Schedule and manage staff shifts in line with business requirements.
  • Foster a positive and professional work environment.

4. Financial & Cost Control

  • Achieve revenue and profitability targets through effective cost control and upselling strategies.
  • Monitor and manage operating expenses, inventory, and wastage.
  • Analyze sales reports and suggest operational improvements to increase efficiency.

5. Coordination & Communication

  • Coordinate with the kitchen, bar, and other departments to ensure seamless service.
  • Maintain strong communication with senior management regarding operations and performance.
  • Participate in menu planning, promotional activities, and marketing strategies.

  • Strong knowledge of fine dining service standards and etiquette.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Financial acumen and understanding of restaurant P&L.
  • Problem-solving attitude with attention to detail.
  • Customer-centric and professional demeanor.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in F&B operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role in a fine dining or luxury restaurant.
  • Strong understanding of wines, beverages, and international cuisines preferred.
