Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing CAD drawings, layouts, and diagrams for IT and ELV systems (e.g., structured cabling, BMS, AV, access control).
  • Support in developing as-built drawings, schematics, and shop drawings under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Maintain and organize drawing files, templates, and documentation as per project standards.
  • Interpret basic technical drawings, floor plans, and instructions from engineers and project teams.
  • Work collaboratively with design, drafting, and project teams to ensure timely delivery of drawings.
  • Learn to apply industry standards and project-specific guidelines in all drafting tasks.
  • Perform redlining and updates based on engineer or site feedback.
  • Support in creating documentation for submittals, approvals, and handover.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Certification in Drafting, Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Civil, or Mechanical), or related technical field.
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD (2D drafting); familiarity with Revit or other BIM tools is a plus.
  • Understanding of engineering or architectural drawings is preferred.
  • Good attention to detail and a willingness to learn from senior team members.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
  • Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure components is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel).

Preferred Skills:

  • Internship or academic project experience related to AutoCAD or drafting is a plus.
  • Eagerness to grow in IT, MEP, or ELV design environments.
  • Familiarity with file management systems or project collaboration platforms.
