Overview: The Area Sales Manager plays a crucial role in leading and managing a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth within a specific geographical area.   • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand customer base
  • Oversee and support the daily activities and performance of the sales team
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and customer needs to adjust strategies accordingly
  • Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to sales representatives
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and set clear goals for the team
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to effectively promote and sell products
  • Identify opportunities for business growth and development within the assigned area
  • Handle escalated customer concerns and issues to ensure timely resolution
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to the management
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection of new sales team members
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and sales standards
  • Participate in sales meetings, events, and conferences as required
  • Manage budgets, expenses, and resource allocation for the sales team
