Roles & Responsibilities
- Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities in international markets for narcotics APIs (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients).
 - Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients, ensuring satisfaction and addressing issues promptly.
 - Regulatory Compliance: Ensure sales and marketing activities are in full compliance with global regulations on narcotics APIs.
 - Market Analysis: Research global market trends, competitor activities, and opportunities to drive growth.
 - Sales Strategy: Formulate and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
 - Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, Production, QA/QC, Regulatory, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery.
 - Reporting & Analytics: Prepare regular reports on sales performance, pipeline, and market updates.
 - Travel: Willingness and ability to travel extensively to countries in assigned for client meetings, negotiations, market assessments, and
 
business development activities. Travelling will be predominantly within the international Region
Experience & Skills Required
- 5+ years of experience in International Sales & Marketing of APIs.
 - Only candidates from API Manufacturing Companies will be considered.
 - Must have handled direct international clients (no intermediates, no trading, no excipients).
 - Strong experience with narcotics APIs preferred.
 - Knowledge of international narcotics regulations and product recall handling.
 - Proficiency in SAP (order processing) and import/export documentation.
 - Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing client portfolios.
 - Career stability minimum 34 years tenure in previous organizations.
 - Excellent communication, negotiation, and business networking skills.
 - High willingness to travel internationally.

- Candidates from Western Region (Mumbai preferred) will be given priority.
