Business Analyst- ERP Module

Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements across all ERP modules (Finance, HR, Procurement, Inventory, Sales, Manufacturing, etc.).

  • Work with stakeholders to understand business processes and identify opportunities for ERP-driven improvements.
  • Translate business requirements into functional ERP specifications; communicate effectively between users and developers.
  • Train and support consultants in documentation preparation.
  • Conduct gap analysis between current business processes and ERP functionality.
  • Manage and track bugs, enhancements, and change requests related to ERP modules.
  • Support ERP implementations, upgrades, and customizations.
  • Undertake process gap analysis, root cause analysis, and drive resolution of ERP-related issues across functional modules
  • Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and coordinate with business users for validation.
  • Prepare and maintain BRDs, FRDs, process flows, and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 5–6 years' experience as a Business Analyst with strong ERP exposure.
  • Strong business process mapping, documentation, and analytical skills.
  • Hands-on knowledge of end-to-end ERP modules (Finance, HR, SCM, Procurement, Sales, Inventory, Manufacturing, etc.).
  • Experience in ERP implementations, rollouts, and enhancements.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and workflows.
  • Proficiency in requirement gathering, documentation, and process mapping tools.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred (Good to Have)

  • Experience with popular ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, Infor, NetSuite, etc.).
  • Knowledge of SQL, data analysis, and reporting tools.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.
