ROLE OBJECTIVE

This job description is for a supply chain analyst focused on supporting the implementation of SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between supply chain business processes and the technical capabilities of the new ERP system, ensuring a smooth transition and continuous improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

ERP Implementation Support

  • Serve as a key liaison between the global SAP implementation team and local supply chain teams to gather, document, and translate business requirements.
  • Participate in the configuration, testing (including unit, integration, and UAT), and deployment of SAP S/4HANA modules related to supply chain, such as Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Warehouse Management (WM), and Sales and Distribution (SD).
  • Conduct a gap analysis between current supply chain processes and the capabilities of SAP S/4HANA, providing recommendations for process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Support data migration and validation activities to ensure data integrity and accuracy in the new S/4HANA system.
  • Develop and execute test scripts, managing and resolving defects in collaboration with technical teams.
  • Assist in creating training materials and deliver training sessions to end-users on new S/4HANA processes and functionalities

ERP-Driven Changes and Improvement Actions

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging SAP S/4HANA's advanced capabilities, such as real-time analytics, demand forecasting, and embedded machine learning.
  • Analyze supply chain data using S/4HANA reporting tools and other business intelligence platforms to identify process bottlenecks, recommend solutions, and measure performance against KPIs.
  • Collaborate with global and local teams to standardize and optimize supply chain processes across different regions.
  • Provide ongoing functional support to end-users post-go-live, troubleshooting ERP-related issues and ensuring system utilization.
  • Manage change by communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment and buy-in for proposed solutions

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, information systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a supply chain analyst role within a manufacturing or logistics environment is preferred.
  • Prior experience supporting an SAP or other major ERP implementation project is highly desirable.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA specifically, particularly in logistics or supply chain modules, is a significant asset.
