Role Overview

As Head of Supply Chain, you will lead the end-to-end sourcing, procurement, and supply chain operations across India and China. You will be responsible for driving cost efficiencies, ensuring timely availability of components, and building a resilient vendor ecosystem to support scale.

Key Responsibilities
Sourcing & Procurement:
  • Own and optimize sourcing of all key components from India and China
  • Build and manage vendor relationships; negotiate pricing, lead times, and credit terms
  • Identify new suppliers and alternatives to reduce dependency and cost
Cost Optimization:
  • Drive initiatives to reduce COGS across SKUs through value engineering, vendor renegotiation, and supply chain efficiency
  • Work closely with design, R&D, and finance to identify cost-saving opportunities
Planning & Fulfillment:
  • Ensure timely delivery of parts and materials to the production team
  • Implement systems for accurate demand forecasting, inventory planning, and production alignment
Vendor & Credit Management:
  • Negotiate and manage credit cycles with suppliers to optimize working capital
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to quality and delivery SLAs
Cross-Border Operations:
  • Coordinate logistics from China: freight, customs, clearance, and warehousing
  • Stay updated with import regulations, duties, and compliance
Team & Process Leadership:
  • Build and manage a high-performing supply chain team
  • Implement and improve SOPs, procurement systems (ERP), and supply chain visibility
Requirements
  • 8–12 years of experience in end-to-end supply chain management, preferably in appliances, electronics, or consumer durables
  • Strong exposure to China and India sourcing
  • Proven experience in COGS reduction, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain analytics
  • Excellent negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (China) as required
