Job Title: Zuora Developer / Zuora Architect (Contract)

Location: Remote

Duration: 4 months (extendable)

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Zuora professionals (Developer and Architect levels) to join our team and support our subscription billing transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in Zuora, strong problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience designing and implementing scalable, resilient billing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Zuora billing solutions, including Z-Billing, Product Catalog, Workflows, Data Query, and REST APIs.
  • Create custom workflows, automations, and integrations across Finance, Product, and Engineering systems.
  • Ensure robust subscription lifecycle management, invoicing, usage-based billing, and payment flows.
  • Integrate Zuora with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, Snowflake, and data lakes.
  • Implement best practices in source control, CI/CD pipelines, and environment management.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize billing processes, close gaps, and scale operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex billing and integration edge cases.

Must-Have Skills

  • 5+ years of hands-on Zuora experience (Developer role); 9+ years overall experience for Architect.
  • Expertise in Z-Billing, Workflows, Product Catalog, Data Query, and Zuora REST API.
  • Strong knowledge of subscription management, billing account structures, and payment orchestration.
  • Proven track record of Zuora integrations with enterprise systems (Salesforce, SAP, Snowflake, etc.).
  • Familiarity with source control tools (Git), CI/CD, and deployment automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills in English.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in high-scale SaaS billing environments.
  • Exposure to financial reconciliation and revenue recognition processes.
  • Knowledge of Zuora Reporting and advanced analytics.
