JOB DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCT MANAGER - DOCUMENT SCANNER – AT NOIDA

We are seeking a Product Manager to drive the development, strategy, and market success of our document scanner product line. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and user-friendly scanning solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Strategy & Roadmap

  2. Define vision, strategy, and roadmap based on market research and customer needs.

  3. Align product goals with business objectives and prioritize key features.

  4. Product Development & Execution

  5. Work with engineering and design teams to develop and enhance scanner features.

  6. Oversee the product lifecycle, ensuring quality, usability, and timely delivery.

  7. User Experience & Customer Insights

  8. Gather and analyze user feedback to improve product functionality.

  9. Ensure intuitive design and usability through UX/UI collaboration and testing.

  10. Go-to-Market & Collaboration

  11. Develop launch strategies with marketing and sales teams.

  12. Train internal teams on product features and ensure regulatory compliance.

  13. Manage Channel Partners (Dealers & Distributors)

  14. Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers and distributors to expand market reach.

  15. Provide training, support, and product updates to ensure effective sales and customer engagement.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience:

  • 5 years of experience in IT hardware sales, with a proven track record of selling Document Scanners or similar hardware products.

  • Experience managing channel partners (dealers/distributors) and executing inside sales strategies.

  • Sales & Communication Skills:

  • Understand trends and customer needs to position the product effectively.

  • Support sales teams and build strong relationships with dealers and distributors.

  • Present ideas clearly and listen to feedback for continuous improvement.

  • Product Knowledge & Technical Expertise:

  • Deep understanding of document scanning technology, its features, and its application in various industries.

  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Other Attributes:

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Willingness to travel for onsite visits when required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or IT Hardware related field.
  • Experience working with CRM tools and sales tracking software.

Compensation:

  • Base Salary:

Competitive base salary depending on experience .

  • Incentives:

Performance-based incentives based on targets.

  • Additional Benefits:

Travel allowance (if applicable) for on-site visits to channel partners and distributors.
