Job Summary: Presales Engineer

We are looking for a dynamic and technically skilled Audio Visual System Presales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AV technology, excellent communication skills, and a ability to understand customer needs. This role involves working closely with the sales team to provide technical expertise, design solutions, and ensure successful project proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Consultation:

  2. Work with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical consultation.

  3. Conduct site surveys and needs assessments to gather detailed information.

  4. Solution Design:

  5. Design comprehensive audio visual systems that meet customer specifications and budget constraints.

  6. Create detailed technical proposals, including system schematics, equipment lists, and cost estimates.

  7. Product Demonstrations:

  8. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase AV solutions to potential clients.

  9. Prepare and deliver technical presentations to customers, explaining system capabilities and benefits.

  10. Proposal Development:

  11. Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to develop accurate and competitive proposals.

  12. Ensure proposals are technically sound and aligned with customer needs.

  13. Vendor and Partner Liaison:

  14. Stay updated on the latest AV technologies and products to provide the best solutions.

  15. Project Coordination:

  16. Work with project incharge and installation teams to ensure seamless handover to client.

  17. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during the project lifecycle.

  18. Customer Support:

  19. Provide post-sale technical support and assistance to ensure customer satisfaction.

  20. Conduct training sessions for customers on the use and maintenance of installed AV systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Electronics, IT, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in audio visual system design and implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of AV products, technologies, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in AV-related fields.
  • Experience with AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, AMX, Extron).
  • Understanding of networking and IT infrastructure as it relates to AV systems.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment with frequent travel to customer sites.
  • Flexibility to work outside standard hours when necessary.
