Role Overview

We're seeking a Public Relations (PR) Intern who can think beyond money and create massive reach through storytelling, creativity, and AI-driven strategy.

Your mission: to make Honey Makhija Books a household name — without spending a single rupee, using only your innovation, digital sense, and resourceful mindset.

This is a launchpad for those who want to build a long-term career in PR, publishing, or digital brand strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute zero-budget PR campaigns for Honey Makhija's books.
  • Draft and publish press releases, author stories, and brand features.
  • Connect with book reviewers, bloggers, and micro-influencers for organic coverage.
  • Manage and grow social media presence across Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube using free tools.
  • Create and schedule content calendars, reels, and viral posts using AI + Canva.
  • Coordinate interviews, book launches, podcasts, and reader-community collaborations.
  • Track analytics weekly (reach, engagement, conversions) and submit reports.
  • Bring new ideas every week to increase brand visibility and organic buzz.

Tools & Resource Utilization

You'll be expected to use:

  • AI tools: ChatGPT, Notion AI, Canva Magic, CapCut, Descript.
  • Community Marketing: Reddit, Quora, Substack, Medium, Telegram book clubs.
  • Free Platforms: Canva, Instagram, LinkedIn, Notion, Google Sheets.
  • Influencer & Podcast Outreach: Gmail, WhatsApp, and LinkedIn DMs.

Goal: Achieve national reach creatively — with zero paid ads.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Excellent English writing & communication skills.
  • Resourceful, proactive, and imaginative — capable of achieving big results with limited means.
  • Familiar with Canva, ChatGPT, Notion, and other AI productivity tools.
  • Passion for books, media, storytelling, and authorship.
  • Pursuing or completed graduation in Mass Media, Marketing, PR, or English Literature.

Compensation & Growth Path

  • Internship Period: ₹10,000/month for 3 months.
  • Post-Internship (Full-Time Role): ₹15,000/month + performance-based bonuses & incentives.
  • Exceptional performers will be promoted to PR Executive within the Honey Makhija Group with long-term growth potential.
