Fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and e‑commerce logistics operating in the quick‑commerce (q‑commerce) and hyperlocal fulfilment space. We run high-velocity on‑demand fulfilment networks—dark stores, last‑mile fleets and partner ecosystems—designed to deliver sub‑30/60 minute SLAs across urban markets.

Primary Title:
Head of Operations - Quick Commerce

Location & Workplace:
India - On‑site (lead regional/cluster operations)

Role & Responsibilities

  • Own end‑to‑end q‑commerce operations across dark stores, micro‑fulfilment centres and last‑mile delivery to achieve SLAs, OTIF and cost‑per‑order targets.
  • Define and execute operational strategy for scale: network design, capacity planning, routing, and shift rostering to meet peak demand patterns.
  • Lead P&L for assigned geography—drive margin improvement through process optimisation, productivity levers and vendor negotiations.
  • Build and manage cross‑functional teams (operations managers, store leads, fleet managers) and third‑party partners to deliver consistent customer experience.
  • Implement performance management: KPIs, daily/weekly cadences, root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement programs (Six Sigma / Kaizen style).
  • Champion safety, compliance and SLAs—oversee rider welfare, SLA adherence, inventory accuracy and on‑site health & safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record: senior operations leadership (typically 8+ years) with 3+ years in quick‑commerce, hyperlocal, or high‑frequency retail fulfilment.
  • Experience managing multi‑site operations, third‑party logistics partners and P&L responsibility for a region or large cluster.
  • Demonstrated success driving operational KPIs (OTIF, cost per delivery, fulfilment accuracy) and scaling teams in fast‑growth environments.
