We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Solar Sales Representative to join our growing renewable energy company. This role combines consultative selling with environmental impact, helping homeowners transition to clean energy while building a lucrative career in the rapidly expanding solar industry.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Lead Management

  • Conduct in-home consultations with qualified prospects
  • Perform energy audits and analyze electricity bills to determine solar feasibility
  • Present customized solar solutions using design software and financial modeling tools
  • Guide customers through financing options including cash purchases, solar loans, leases, and PPAs
  • Close sales and achieve monthly/quarterly revenue targets
  • Maintain detailed CRM records and follow up on all leads within 24 hours

Technical & Educational

  • Explain solar technology, installation process, and system benefits in accessible terms
  • Calculate ROI, payback periods, and long-term savings projections
  • Stay current on federal, state, and local solar incentives and rebates
  • Conduct site assessments including roof condition, shading analysis, and electrical evaluation
  • Coordinate with installation team for project handoff and timeline communication
