Job Title:Technical Specialist – Cloud Architect (E2.3)Location:Chennai, IndiaCompany:HCLTechExperience Level:5 to 7 years of relevant experienceJob Summary:HCLTech is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect (E2.3 Technical Specialist) with deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and VMware vRealize Automation (vRA), strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud architecture, and solid understanding of Datadog for observability and monitoring. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and automation frameworks for enterprise applications in a fast-paced DevOps environment. Key Responsibilities:Design and develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and vRA for automated provisioning and configuration.

Architect and implement AWS-based cloud solutions aligned with customer requirements and HCLTech standards. Integrate monitoring and observability using Datadog, including dashboard creation, alert configuration, and performance tuning. Collaborate with DevOps, application, and security teams to streamline deployment pipelines and enhance infrastructure scalability and reliability.

Maintain, document, and continuously improve cloud architecture, policies, and procedures in alignment with best practices. Lead troubleshooting efforts and perform root cause analysis for infrastructure or deployment-related issues. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, including code reviews and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.8 years of experience in cloud and infrastructure engineering, with at least 3 years in a Cloud Architect role. Deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation, etc.). Expert in Terraform for IaC and vRealize Automation (vRA) for private/hybrid cloud automation.

Experience with Datadog for infrastructure and application monitoring. Strong background in scripting (e.g., Python, Shell, or PowerShell). Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.

Solid understanding of networking, security, and identity management in cloud environments. Excellent communication and documentation skills.
