Job Description
: The specific responsibilities of the position holder will be to manage export and domestic logistics operations for our quartz manufacturing business. The role involves overseeing shipments, freight negotiations, vendor management, compliance, and cost optimization, while also coordinating with the domestic sales team to align dispatch schedules with confirmed orders and available inventory.A key focus would be on implementing and maintaining standard operating procedures, managing resources, and contributing to the overall smooth functioning of the organization. The responsibilities (though not specific) to the following:

  • Manage end-to-end domestic and export logistics, ensuring on-time, compliant deliveries.
  • Oversee export documentation, customs clearance, and adherence to International commercial Terms.
  • Coordinate with the sales team on orders, dispatch priorities, and inventory availability.
  • Negotiate with transporters, freight forwarders, and shipping lines for cost efficiency.
  • Monitor OTIF performance and implement improvements.
  • Lead and develop the logistics team.

Academic and Professional Qualifications:

  • Graduate in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 15-20 years experience in logistics (domestic & export), preferably in manufacturing.
  • Strong vendor management, sales coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Tally system and MS Office.
