Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Export Business Manager to oversee the entire handicraft export cycle, from sourcing artisans and product development to acquiring international buyers and ensuring seamless logistics management.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Export Agent Enablement & Training
    • Foster and educate handicraft export agents on international trade best practices.
    • Develop comprehensive SOPs for export operations, buyer outreach strategies, and market research methodologies.
    • Cultivate expertise in international trade of handicrafts, artisanal handwork, quality control, export compliance, and B2B negotiation.
  2. Buyer Acquisition & Relationship Management
    • Strategize and execute initiatives to attract bulk handicraft buyers from global markets.
    • Negotiate orders for handmade products with importers and retailers worldwide.
  3. Supplier Sourcing & Product Development
    • Source high-quality handicraft suppliers from India's prominent craft hubs.
    • Establish robust contracts with artisans, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and exclusivity.
  4. Samples & Product Approval
    • Manage golden samples for buyers worldwide, adhering to international compliance standards.
  5. Pricing, Costing & Margin Control
    • Analyze and optimize pricing structures for handicraft shipments.
  6. Quality Control & Inspections
    • Conduct regular quality checks for handicraft SKUs.
  7. Export Documentation & Compliance
    • Ensure accurate and timely export documentation, adhering to country-specific regulations.
  8. Logistics & Shipping
    • Coordinate efficient LCL/FCL shipments for bulk handicraft orders.
  9. Reporting & Continuous Improvement
    • Maintain accurate CRM records for export leads and orders.
