Position: Automobile Engineer Industry: Steel & Mining Experience Required: 5–6 Years Education: Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering Work Location: Tanzania / Kenya Salary Range: ₹1.5 – ₹2 Lakh per month (negotiable for the right candidate) --- About the Role We are looking for an experienced and skilled Automobile Engineer to join our team for overseas projects in Tanzania and Kenya. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in excavators, payloaders, dump trucks, and other mining/heavy equipment used in large-scale mining operations. The role demands strong technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and the willingness to work in international project sites.
--- Key Responsibilities Maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of excavators, payloaders, dumpers, loaders, and other mining vehicles/equipment. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure maximum uptime of mining equipment. Conduct regular inspections, diagnostics, and performance checks on heavy machinery. Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry best practices. Maintain accurate records of repairs, spare parts usage, and maintenance schedules. Coordinate with site supervisors, operations, and procurement teams for smooth functioning of equipment. Train and guide local technicians/operators on proper handling and upkeep of machinery.
--- Required Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of heavy-duty mining vehicles and equipment. Hands-on experience in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems of mining machinery. Ability to diagnose faults quickly and provide effective solutions. Good understanding of spare parts management and maintenance planning. Strong communication and adaptability to work in international environments. Willingness to relocate and work on-site in Tanzania/Kenya.
--- Qualifications Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering. Minimum 5–6 years of relevant experience in the steel and mining industry. International work experience preferred but not mandatory.
--- Compensation & Benefits Monthly Salary: ₹1.5 – ₹2 Lakh (based on experience & expertise). Work visa, medical insurance, and other expatriate benefits as per company policy.
