Job Description:

· We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient PMS Engineer to manage and maintain our Planned Maintenance System. The ideal candidate will ensure all preventive maintenance tasks, schedules, records, and technical documentation are accurately updated and optimized for efficiency. This role is critical to ensuring operational reliability and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage the setup, administration, and optimization of the PMS software

· Create, update, and standardize maintenance job cards, checklists, and equipment hierarchies.

· Coordinate with technical superintendents, vessel crew, or maintenance teams to gather equipment data and maintenance schedules.

· Analyze maintenance trends and generate reports for performance monitoring and decision-making.

· Ensure compliance with classification society, OEM, flag state, and ISM Code requirements regarding maintenance documentation.

· Provide training and support to end-users (e.g., engineers, technicians, crew) on the use of the PMS.

· Implement improvements to maintenance strategies and workflows within the system.

· Maintain records of spare parts, inventory, and critical spares as per PMS standards.

· Support internal and external audits related to technical operations and documentation.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marine engineering field.

· Minimum 1- 3 years of relevant experience in PMS operations, preferably in the maritime sectors.

· Hands-on experience with PMS software.

· Strong understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance concepts.

· Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as ISM, IMO, SOLAS, and class rules (for maritime roles).

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Strong communication and documentation abilities.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a technical environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Prior seagoing experience (for maritime sector).

· Knowledge of CMMS or ERP integration.

· Experience in data migration, software implementation, or PMS system upgrades.
