• Strong knowledge of vacuum technology, materials science, and electrical insulation.


• Experience with CAD software and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, SolidWorks).


• Proven track record of managing engineering projects from concept to production.


• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills


• Familiarity with industry standards and certiication requirements for vacuum interrupters.


• Product knowledge of VCB, RMU, Auto reclosers will be added advantage.


• Knowledge of type testing of products and knowledge of IEC standards.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Vacuum Interrupter Design Manager to lead the design and development of cutting-edge vacuum interrupters. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical/mechanical design, materials science, and manufacturing processes related to vacuum technology. This role will play a critical part in shaping the future of our product portfolio and driving innovation in the industry.

Key Responsibilities


• Lead the end-to-end design and development of vacuum interrupters, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and cost objectives.


• Manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and marketing, to align product designs with business goals.


• Oversee material selection, prototyping, testing, and validation processes to ensure compliance with industry standards.


• Identify and implement process improvements to optimize design eficiency and reduce time-to-market.


• Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in vacuum interruption and recommend their adoption where applicable.


• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation effectively.


• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
