Job Title: Audio Video Engineer (Presales & Project Execution)

Reports To: Project Manager / Technical Head
Job Type: Full-Time
Role Summary:
This role involves supporting the sales team with AV system design and leading project execution from concept to completion. The engineer will be responsible for designing AV solutions, preparing documentation, presenting to clients, and ensuring successful on-site implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Presales & Design:
Collaborate with the sales team and clients to understand AV requirements.
Design AV systems including BYOD, USB-C, DSP, dual camera setups, ceiling speakers, and HBase transmission.
Prepare schematic diagrams, BOQs, layout drawings, and technical solution presentations.
Conduct product demos, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept sessions.
Coordinate with OEMs and vendors to validate solution feasibility.
Stay updated with emerging AV technologies, platforms, and industry trends.
Project Execution:
Review AV designs and prepare detailed implementation plans.
Manage on-site installation of AV systems including DSPs, cameras, displays, and control systems.
Coordinate with technicians, vendors, and client stakeholders.
Conduct system testing, commissioning, and final handover to the client.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during and post-installation.
Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
Skills & Qualifications:
Degree/Diploma in Electronics, AV, or related field.
2+ years in AV presales or system design.
3+ years in AV project execution and implementation.
Hands-on experience with AV hardware, DSPs, control systems, and conferencing solutions.
Strong understanding of AV standards and protocols (HDBaseT, HDMI, Dante, etc.).
Ability to read and create technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Visio, or similar design tools.
Excellent problem-solving, client communication, and coordination skills.
Strong presentation and documentation capabilities.
