Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team in the building material industry specializing in glass windows and door systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets. This role requires strong communication skills, market understanding, and the ability to present technical product solutions to customers.
Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Business Development
- Identify and generate new business opportunities in assigned territories (Architects, Builders, Contractors, Dealers, Interior Designers, and Homeowners).
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitors.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
2. Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Conduct client meetings, site visits, and product presentations.
- Provide timely and professional customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
3. Product Knowledge & Technical Understanding
- Develop a strong understanding of uPVC/Aluminium glass window and door systems, including specifications, applications, and installation processes.
- Provide technical guidance to customers and address product-related queries.
4. Negotiation & Order Finalization
- Prepare and deliver quotations based on client requirements.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and project timelines.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Production, Design, Installation, Dispatch) for seamless order execution.
5. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain daily sales reports (DSR) and update CRM tools.
- Track lead progress and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales performance reports.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–4 years of experience in sales, preferably in building materials, uPVC/Aluminium windows & doors, hardware, glass or related segments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet targets.
- Willingness to travel within assigned regions.
