Education

  • Bachelor's / Master's in: Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering
  • MBA (Analytics / Systems) is an added advantage

Sales & Marketing

Sales dashboards (primary/secondary), market share, territory performance, new hybrid off take, farmer scheme ROI, competitor intelligence

Supply Chain & Logistics

Inventory ageing, stock expiry alerts, warehouse efficiency, transporter performance, demand-supply gap analysis

Quality Control

Germination trends, purity testing data, lot-wise quality dashboard, complaint analysis

Finance

P&L analytics, cost-per-bag analysis, scheme profitability, working capital trends, credit risk scoring of distributors

HR

Manpower planning for seasonal labour, field force attrition analysis, incentive calculation automation

Management / MD

Office

Monthly MIS for Board, 1-page CEO dashboard, early-warning KPIs, "what-if" scenario modelling

Must-Have Technical Skills

  • Advanced Excel + Power Query
  • Power BI (must) or Tableau (dashboard building & publishing)
  • SQL – able to write complex queries independently
  • Python or R (for statistical analysis, automation – added advantage)
  • Basic understanding of ERP (SAP / Oracle / Microsoft Dynamics / custom seed ERP)
  • Experience in automating monthly reports and reducing manual work

Soft Skills & Traits Required

  • Ability to talk to Production Managers, Breeders, Zonal Managers, CFO, and MD in their own language
  • Strong business acumen – can convert raw data into actionable insights
  • Eye for detail + storytelling with data
  • Ability to meet strict monthly/quarterly reporting deadlines
