Responsibilities:

  • Develop and own the end-to-end identification to onboarding of a global partnership and business plan including the definition and agreement of successful outcomes with the partner aligned to WebEngage's partnership models and revenue targets.
  • Establish cadences with partners for business goals alignment, resource mapping, and training & amp; enablement to manage and measure progress.
  • Help Partner Managers define strategic accounts and joint account mapping to support proactive business development. Serve as the internal subject matter for the partners for solutions and technology by developing a deep understanding of the WebEngage Product offering and partner's strategies, offerings, GTM model and incentive programs
  • Communicate the partner strategy, joint offer value propositions and GTM strategy to business unit leaders and sales teams; represent WebEngage at internal & external partner events.
  • Secure Marketing Development Funds from partners to support business development and marketing activities.
  • As a Partner Development Manager (PDM), you will own strategy, execution, and management of GSI, Consulting, Marketing Agencies and Reseller partners
  • You will be responsible for identifying, defining, prioritizing, building, and executing a comprehensive partner discovery and evaluation screen and if selected, accelerate onboarding the partners
  • The success of this role is predicated on aligning our GTM goals, enabling and onboarding the selected partners, and connecting relationships with the Partner Management team
  • In addition, the PDM must build relationships with our partners to execute our business plans and market the WebEngage value to our partners and convey it to end customers.
  • The PDM is responsible for achieving their partner-enabled and onboarded targets globally for assigned partners and driving the overall market adoption of the WebEngage platform
  • You will be required to successfully work with multiple teams comprised of a diverse set of skills and knowledge from across WebEngage such as Solution consulting, partner enablement and partner management to interface with a variety of teams on the partner side
  • The ideal candidate will have both a business background that enables them to engage at the CXO level, has enterprise exposure as well as a sales background that enables them to manage joint GTM initiatives
  • The ideal candidate should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges as well as build and convey compelling value propositions
  • The position requires strong technical and business acumen and an understanding of the Marketing Automation Ecosystem

Requirements:

  • 4 to 6 years of total experience with at least 2+ years of channel partnership experience in a SaaS/Software/Digital products.
  • Experience in business development, partner (channel or alliance) management, and sales with a track record of exceeding revenue goals and driving successful partner programs.
  • Experience working with Global System Integration, Consulting organizations, Marketing Agencies, and Reseller companies from a partnership standpoint and have managed enterprise customers/partnerships.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to structure and execute complex initiatives and programs
  • Results-oriented individual with a demonstrated willingness to take the lead in driving initiatives, and creating unique approaches to developing new partnerships.
  • Highly collaborative with an ability to drive influence within a global company across business units to a variety of stakeholders in different functional and/or geographic areas.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, and presentation skills with the ability to interact at various levels within WebEngage and the partner org.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented able to continually prioritize and pivot based on changing market conditions, client and/or partner demand.
  • Required Education: UG: Any Graduate, PG: Any Postgraduate (MBA Preferred)
