About the Role

The Account Manager – Events is responsible for managing client relationships, understanding event objectives, and ensuring successful planning and execution of events from concept to completion. This role requires strong communication skills, a client-first mindset, and the ability to coordinate internal teams and external partners to deliver exceptional event experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Understand client needs, objectives, and expectations for each event.
  • Provide strategic recommendations and creative solutions to maximize event impact.

Event Planning & Execution

  • Oversee end-to-end event planning including concepts, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Prepare and present event proposals, budgets, and post-event reports.
  • Ensure all event elements—from logistics to creative—are aligned with client goals.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (production, design, operations, marketing) to ensure seamless execution.
  • Manage on-site event supervision and resolve issues proactively.

Project & Budget Management

  • Develop and track project timelines, budgets, contracts, and invoices.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Identify risks and propose solutions to ensure project stability.

Vendor & Partner Coordination

  • Liaise with venues, suppliers, entertainment, and other external partners.
  • Negotiate with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and high-quality services.
  • Oversee vendor contracts, deliverables, and performance.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate event documentation and client communication records.
  • Provide regular status updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to determine improvement opportunities.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Event Management, or related field (preferred).
  • 2–5 years of experience in event management, client servicing, or account management.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of event software/tools is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel for events.
