Role Overview

The Finance Manager will oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and strategic planning. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills, capable of partnering with leadership to ensure financial health and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business planning. Monitor financial performance, track KPIs, and provide insights to leadership for decision-making.
  • Accounting & Compliance: Oversee accounting operations, including monthly, quarterly, and annual closings. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, taxation, and corporate governance. Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Cash Flow & Treasury Management: Manage company cash flow, working capital, and investment strategies. Ensure efficient fund allocation to support operations and growth initiatives.
  • Strategic Support: Provide financial insights for business expansion, product investments, and pricing strategies. Support leadership in fundraising, investor relations, and financial due diligence.
  • Process Improvement: Implement and improve financial systems, tools, and controls to enhance efficiency and transparency.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: CA, CPA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: 6+ years of experience in finance, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role (preferably in a technology/product-driven organization).
  • Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation, and corporate finance.
  • Proven expertise in budgeting, financial analysis, compliance, and audits.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
