Our Client an Engineering company urgently needs -

Post : General Manager

Location : Kolkata

Experience : Minimum 20 years in Government Liaising, Statutory Compliance

Salary : upto 35 LPA ..depending on Calibre and skills

Job Profile

  • Strong knowledge and experience in decision-making
  • Handle all the Government officials in Statutory compliances, GST, etc.,
  • Lead and manage all the offices in India to ensure smooth administration
  • Oversee the procurement team to ensure timely purchasing and vendor management.
  • Handle key communications, build strong relationships, and address concerns
  • Work closely with the branch offices to support daily operations and solve problems.
  • Resolve escalations quickly by coordinating with internal teams and Management
  • Develop and improve company processes for better efficiency and growth.
  • Monitor the budgets and report progress to top management.
  • Build a strong team environment and encourage collaboration.

Additional requirements

  • Candidates only from West Bengal Region will be Preferred
  • Preference to the Retired Personnel from Public Sector or Private office and with similar experience in heading the offices.
  • F2F interview is Mandatory since the MD will be in India from 1st October to 6th October 2025

Since the MD is operating from the US office, so a person who can take decisions on his behalf in India is required. Of course, the MD will be in close contact with the GM on daily basis and under his guidance GM should be able to handle the work.
