Position: Assistant Vice President – Business Development

Role Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and driven professional to join as Assistant Vice President – Business Development, responsible for originating and managing debt syndication mandates. The role involves leveraging strong industry networks, building new client relationships, and driving business opportunities across corporates, mid-market companies, NBFCs, and real estate sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Originate and drive debt syndication mandates across targeted sectors.

·       Build and expand relationships with corporates, NBFCs, real estate firms, and financial institutions.

·       Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and convert them into mandates.

·       Manage client interactions, ensuring a high level of relationship management and client satisfaction.

·       Collaborate with the execution team to ensure smooth transaction closure.

·       Prepare and deliver client pitches, proposals, and presentations.

·       Track market developments, competitor activities, and regulatory updates to identify opportunities.

Key Requirements:

· –10 years of proven experience in business development within debt syndication/structured finance.

·       Strong network and connectivity with corporates, mid-market, NBFCs, and real estate players.

·       Excellent skills in client engagement, negotiation, and presentation.

·       Strong understanding of financial products, debt structures, and capital markets.

·       Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal teams to achieve business goals.

Qualification:

  • MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA preferred.
