About the team:
We are looking for an
Associate/Finance Business Partner
with
5-8 Years
of experience to be
based at our Mangalore
office in India and be part of our growth story.

You will become a part of a team of 18 Finance Business Partners in the Nordics and India. The team works closely with key managers in the Business Units and Divisions, and you will be responsible for driving finance and financial processes, including performance management for the relevant Business Units.

The Finance Business Partner team plays a crucial role in partnering with various departments within EG to provide financial expertise, analysis, and strategic insights to drive business performance and decision-making. You will therefore have a significant influence on creating the right discussions in the Business Unit and thus achieving the strategic goals.

The Indian part of the Finance Business Partnering team, is new unit, and your primary task in the beginning will be to secure the Indian team in becoming a strong partner for the Nordic part of the Finance Business Partnering team. This includes close cooperation with the Nordic organization, business and finance, as well as the Indian Business Partner team.

Responsibilities:
The main responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner team include:

  • Leading the Business Unit through all tasks in the annual financial cycle, such as monthly reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and the financial aspect of the strategy process
  • Step in and cover any critical responsibilities to ensure that workflow remains uninterrupted during the absence of Nordic Finance partners
  • Implementation of performance management methods and processes, including providing input for the development of relevant measures
  • Ownership of financial processes in the Business Unit, including serving as a point of contact between Controllers, Nordic FBP, Group finance and Business Unit.
  • Identifying areas for process improvement, implementing best practices, and drive efficiency in financial operations.

Your workday, your tasks and mandatory skill set:
To be successful in the role, it is important that you:

  • Have a minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience from business finance in a global organization or consultancy,
  • Have exposure towards business finance, controller and partnering role
  • Having strong understanding of the Finance value chain
  • Have a master's degree in finance, Controlling or Management Accounting or similar.
  • Strong understanding within the field of accounting and finance
  • Can juggle multiple tasks and collaborate with stakeholders at various managerial levels in a dynamic business environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of MS office and working experience in Power-Bi, or any visualization tool is a must.
  • Work independently as well as in teams to create valuable results and achieve strategic goals.
  • Possess excellent communication and relationship building skills, to ensure successful collaboration with your many stakeholders.
  • Experience in work delegation and workload management with the team
  • Self-driven, proactive, structured, persistent, and result-driven
  • Knowledge on the SAAS industry is an added advantage
