Role & responsibilities

  • Experience in SIEM application & SOC related activities.
  • Incident response efforts, providing exceptional tier 1-3 operational management, analysis, and investigation of security incidents.
  • Provide inputs to facilitate improvements in policy and procedures based on implementation experience in Bank,
  • Continuously assess and improve the SOC's capabilities, processes, and procedures.
  • Verify discovered vulnerabilities; correlate and collate the information; and create intelligence reports that communicate the results of the analyses to people who need to know them (e.g., C-Suite, executives, government decision-makers, security officials).
  • Overall management of cyber-lab including the program management, upkeep of the latest images, guiding IS team members, help resolve technical issues, etc
  • Data sanity and integrity checks for ITSCB and ISC notes, SCD (Secure Configuration Document) preparation and maintenance etc
  • Conduct regular assessments, audits, and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes accordingly.
  • Establish and enforce security policies, procedures, and guidelines for the SOC's operations.
  • Ensure that the SOC's activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Extensive experience working with SIEM, Log Aggregators, Incident Response Management solutions
  • Strong technical knowledge of Networking, Operating Systems and enterprise integrations
  • Proven experience with multiple security event detection platforms
  • understanding of TCP/IP/ understand IDS / IPS rules to identify and/or prevent malicious activity
