About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and visionary National Sales Manager (NSM) to lead Pintola's sales engine across India. This role is not just about managing numbers—it's about building a movement. You will be at the heart of shaping strategy, experimenting with bold ideas, and rallying teams to make Pintola an even more loved household name.
The NSM will thrive in a space of enthusiasm, trial-and-error, rapid execution, and fearless experimentation—all while staying laser-focused on delivering consistent growth.
Qualifications & Requirements
MBA / Post-Graduate in Sales & Marketing (mandatory).
10–15 years of proven sales leadership in FMCG / Food & Beverages.
Experience handling a retail footprint of more than 2 lakh stores across India.
Proven experience in managing and motivating large teams of 100+ members.
Strong exposure to GT & MT channels (HoReCa experience is highly valued).
Demonstrated success in leading pan-India teams and driving double-digit growth.
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Agility to adapt, resilience to setbacks, and passion to keep pushing boundaries.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Execution
- Own the national sales strategy across General Trade (GT), Modern Trade (MT), and HoReCa.
- Balance data-driven decision making with on-ground intuition—blend numbers with gut calls.
- Identify growth pockets, high-potential cities, and breakthrough categories.
- Leadership & Team Building
- Build, coach, and inspire regional sales teams into a high-performance culture.
- Encourage a fail-fast, learn-faster mindset—drive trial, learning loops, and celebrate small wins.
- Align sales objectives with marketing, supply chain, and finance to ensure one seamless growth engine.
- Market Development & Expansion
- Penetrate new markets with creative, localized strategies.
- Establish Pintola as the category captain in health foods, nut butters, oats, and rice cakes.
- Continuously scan for opportunities in modern retail formats and HoReCa networks.
- Partnerships & Negotiations
- Lead negotiations with key accounts, distributors, and channel partners.
- Balance long-term partnerships with tactical wins.
- Ensure pricing parity, compliance, and maximum shelf visibility.
- Performance & Innovation
- Track national sales KPIs and keep a pulse on competitor activities.
- Co-create pilots with marketing (sampling models, premium visibility, in-store activations).
- Be the voice of the market—bring consumer and channel insights into HQ decision-making.
