About the Role
We are hiring a seasoned Assistant General Manager – Administration to lead and oversee all factory administrative operations at our Bhavani unit.
The right candidate will have strong expertise in transport, canteen, housekeeping, security, and facility management within the garments/textile industry. Candidates from Erode or Salem (ready to relocate to Bhavani) will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all administrative operations: Security, Transport, Canteen, Housekeeping, Facility Management
- Manage vendors, service agreements & ensure quality standards
- Monitor & optimize budgets for cost efficiency
- Ensure workplace safety, statutory compliance & housekeeping standards
- Lead security operations: surveillance, emergency protocols, team management, incident reporting
- Mentor & lead the administrative team for high performance
- Collaborate with management & HODs to meet operational goals
- Present regular reports on admin performance & improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Administration / Transport Management / related field
- Minimum 15+ years in factory administration (garments/textile preferred)
- Strong leadership & communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of vendor management, facilities, compliance
- Ability to coordinate across multiple departments and ensure operational excellence
