About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and driven Area Sales Manager (ASM) Modern Trade (Dr. Morepen) to strengthen our presence in the modern trade channel across India. The incumbent will be responsible for generating new business, developing product sales, and ensuring smooth coordination between internal and external stakeholders for Light Life and Dr. Morepen SKUs.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Generate new business opportunities for Light Life and DML SKUs from new modern trade chains across India.
- Client Development: Collaborate with existing Zone Managers to increase new product sales from current clients.
- Coordination & Operations: Work closely with the internal MIS team for purchase orders, billing, and related operational coordination.
- Product Monitoring: Track and manage expiry timelines of existing launched DML SKUs to minimize wastage and ensure timely liquidation.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with the sales, supply chain, and finance teams to drive efficiency and ensure smooth execution.
Candidate Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or MBA (preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of proven experience in Food Category Sales within Modern Trade.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of modern trade operations, distributor management, and retail dynamics.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and coordination skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work across multiple stakeholders and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
