Role & responsibilities

A showroom sales executive greets customers, understands their needs, demonstrates product features, and facilitates sales transactions to meet sales targets. Key responsibilities include maintaining the showroom's appearance, providing expert product knowledge, handling inquiries, and processing sales. Qualifications generally include a high school diploma, strong communication and customer service skills, and sales or retail experience can be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement: Greet and engage with customers visiting the showroom.
  • Product Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of the products and services offered.
  • Sales & Demonstrations: Showcase products, demonstrate features and benefits, and assist customers in making purchase decisions.
  • Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed sales targets set by management.
  • Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues professionally, and provide a positive customer experience.
  • Showroom Maintenance: Keep the showroom neat, organized, and visually appealing, ensuring product displays are well-maintained.
  • Transaction Management: Process sales transactions, manage documentation, and handle customer feedback.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and effective sales strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education:A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required; a bachelor's degree may be preferred.
  • Sales Experience:Proven experience in sales, especially in a retail or a specific industry, is often beneficial.
  • Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and colleagues.
  • Interpersonal Skills:Strong interpersonal skills for building rapport with customers and working effectively in a team.
  • Customer Service:A strong understanding of the customer service process to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Adaptability:Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
