Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
  • Review and approve invoices, verify payment details, and ensure timely processing of vendor and client transactions.
  • Monitor cash flows, prepare forecasts, and ensure effective working capital management.
  • Lead the preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow).
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations (TDS, GST, etc.), and company policies.
  • Coordinate with auditors during statutory, internal, and tax audits, and provide necessary schedules and explanations.
  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.
  • Support management with financial analysis, budgeting, and MIS reports for strategic decision-making.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and contribute to process improvements in financial operations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Education:

  • UG: B.Com in any specialization (mandatory)

  • PG: MBA/PGDM in Finance / M.Com (preferred)

  • Experience:

  • 25 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management, preferably in the aviation or related industry.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, or equivalent) and MS Excel.

  • Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, TDS, GST, and other tax compliances.

  • Soft Skills:

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a small team.
