Application Engineer - Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Support & Customer Engagement – Provide pre/post-sales technical support, conduct demos/presentations, qualify leads, translate client needs into specs, support project kick-offs, and serve as first-level technical support for customers and partners.
  • Tender & Opportunity Management – Analyse RFIs/RFPs, prepare technical responses and compliance documents, manage e-tender submissions, and support Make in India/offset documentation.
  • Marketing & Communication – Support marketing with technical inputs, prepare collateral (brochures, presentations, posters), maintain product database, and update website content.
  • Reporting & Pipeline Management – Maintain pipeline records, marketing logs, PO booking data, and track sales/marketing support activities for reporting.
  • Internal Coordination & Documentation – Coordinate with design teams on PFRs, communicate requirements, and maintain AS9100-compliant records (CRR, RIR, etc.) with regular CRM updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's /Master's in Electronics or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in relevant field.
  • Communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
  • Organization and time management skills
  • Ability to comprehend and filter information in design/sale/support of products and systems
