About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated
Delivery Manager
with deep expertise in the automotive domain, especially AUTOSAR, and strong leadership capabilities in delivery and people management. You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-impact projects for automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers, ensuring quality, schedule, and customer satisfaction, while leading cross-functional teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

Delivery & Client Management

• Lead client engagements: drive status meetings, escalations, and presentations to senior management.
• Ensure service delivery meets agreed SLAs, KPIs, and contractual commitments.
• Support preparation of RFP responses, solution scoping, and proposal development.
• Facilitate training, ramp-ups, and capability building of team members for new opportunities.
• Act as key interface between client and internal teams; coordinate dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans.

Planning & Execution

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project and program plans, milestones, and schedules in coordination with project and product teams.
• Oversee detailed planning across product, development, test, delivery, and customer teams.
• Ensure timely delivery against plan, flag deviations early, and manage controlled acceptance of changes.
• Coordinate cross-team dependencies and interlocks (product, test, operations, etc.).
• Lead go/no-go decisions for major project phases and UAT readiness.
• Monitor and manage project budget, cost tracking, forecasting, and variance control.

Risk & Quality Management

• Identify program risks proactively, evaluate impact, and define mitigation / contingency plans.
• Manage delays, propose alternative course corrections, and work with stakeholders to adopt remedial actions.
• Serve as escalation point; maintain transparency and timely communications to stakeholders.
• Prepare and present project reports, dashboards, and status updates (internal + external).
• Ensure deliverables meet quality, compliance, and acceptance criteria.
• Enforce functional safety, process adherence, and domain best practices in project delivery.

Leadership & People Management

• Lead, mentor, and manage delivery and engineering teams (software, hardware, integration) to meet project goals.
• Foster ownership, high performance, collaboration, and accountability among team members.
• Encourage learning, continuous improvement, and cross-skill development.
• Facilitate smooth interaction across geographies (onsite, offshore) and ensure alignment.
• Resolve conflicts and ensure effective communication across teams and with stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 15 – 20 years of total work experience, with significant experience in the automotive domain (preferably with OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers).
• Proven delivery and people leadership experience across software, hardware, or integrated engineering projects.
• Strong technical domain knowledge in
  AUTOSAR
  (Classic / Adaptive) and its component architecture.
• Experience managing product engineering projects (SW, HW, or combined) in automotive settings, adhering to committed schedules and quality standards.
• Exceptional ability to anticipate challenges, resolve issues, and ensure deliverables meet SLAs and quality expectations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the capability to interact with senior leadership, clients, and cross-functional teams.
• Certifications such as
  PMP
  or
  Prince2
  or equivalent project management qualification are preferred.
