DNEG is seeking a commercially astute and visionary finance leader to join our senior leadership team as Head - Corporate Finance & Investor Relations. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of strategic finance, corporate development, and investor communications, supporting the company's continued global expansion across VFX, animation, original content, and immersive technologies.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping DNEGs capital strategy, supporting high-growth initiatives, and communicating our compelling business story to investors, analysts, and financial stakeholders across global markets.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Finance

  • Lead DNEGs global corporate finance function, including long-term financial planning, capital structure strategy, and investment prioritisation.
  • Drive capital raising activities (debt, equity, structured finance) to fund studio expansion, technology initiatives, IP/content development, and strategic partnerships.
  • Evaluate and execute M&A opportunities, joint ventures, and other corporate development initiatives aligned with DNEGs strategic roadmap.
  • Develop robust financial models, valuations, and business cases for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide thought leadership on financial risk management, treasury policy, and resource allocation in a dynamic and project-based business environment.

Investor Relations

  • Lead and evolve DNEGs investor relations strategypositioning the company to institutional investors, analysts, rating agencies, and the broader financial community.
  • Manage quarterly earnings communications, investor roadshows, and capital markets engagement.
  • Craft high-quality investor materials, including investor presentations, press releases, financial Q&A, and strategic messaging.
  • Monitor and communicate market intelligence, industry trends, and investor sentiment to the executive team.
  • Ensure full compliance with relevant financial disclosure, regulatory, and ESG reporting standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; MBA, CFA, or equivalent preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, and/or investor relations, ideally in media, entertainment, or technology sectors.
  • Proven experience managing capital markets transactions (e.g., debt issuance, IPOs, M&A) and working with external advisors, banks, and rating agencies.
  • Strong understanding of the global media and entertainment landscape, including familiarity with project-based production financing and IP monetisation models.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, capable of engaging with C-level executives, board members, and external stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
