Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a
IT Support Executive located in Kolkata (On-site).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide
    technical support
    to employees for hardware, software, network, and system issues.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot
    operating systems, applications, and company-approved software
    .
  • Maintain and monitor
    computer systems, servers, and network equipment
    .
  • Respond to
    IT helpdesk requests
    (in-person, email, or phone) and ensure timely resolution.
  • Assist in managing
    user accounts, access rights, and security settings
    .
  • Perform regular
    system backups, antivirus checks, and updates
    .
  • Support in setup and maintenance of
    printers, scanners, and other peripherals
    .
  • Coordinate with external vendors/service providers for hardware and software requirements.
  • Document
    IT issues, resolutions, and processes
    for knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure adherence to
    IT policies, data security, and compliance standards
    .

Key Skill & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of
    Windows/Linux/Mac OS
    environments.
  • Knowledge of
    networking, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and firewalls
    .
  • Proficiency in
    MS Office, email configuration, and troubleshooting
    .
  • Good understanding of
    IT security practices
    .
  • Excellent
    problem-solving and communication skills
    .

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Computer Science / IT / related field
    (preferred).
  • 3 years
    of experience in IT support/helpdesk
