Overview

We're looking for an experienced Salesforce DevOps Consultant who can drive automation, scalability, and continuous delivery across Salesforce projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in CI/CD implementation, release management, and environment governance using tools like Azure DevOps, Copado, Jenkins, or GitLab.

You'll lead DevOps delivery for small to mid-sized projects while collaborating with Technical Architects on enterprise programs — ensuring streamlined, secure, and high-quality Salesforce releases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, or Copado.
  • Develop and maintain automated deployment frameworks for metadata, scratch orgs, and managed packages.
  • Manage source-driven development and version control strategies (branching, merging, tagging) in Git.
  • Oversee sandbox management, including refresh cycles, data seeding, and environment synchronization.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and release teams to coordinate automated testing, validation, and rollback processes.
  • Drive infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices using Terraform, ARM templates, or PowerShell where applicable.
  • Integrate DevOps metrics and monitoring using Salesforce Event Monitoring, CloudWatch, or Azure Monitor.
  • Troubleshoot pipeline issues, optimize performance, and ensure compliance with DevSecOps standards.
  • Contribute to best practices documentation, process improvements, and enablement for delivery teams.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5–7 years of total Salesforce experience, with at least 4 years in DevOps, CI/CD, or release management.
  • Strong proficiency with Salesforce DX, CLI, Metadata API, and source-driven deployments.
  • Hands-on expertise in any of Azure DevOps, Copado, Jenkins, or GitLab pipelines, and Git-based version control (GitHub/Bitbucket).
  • Excellent understanding of sandbox governance, branching strategy, and automated deployments.
  • Experience integrating code quality and security tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, or PMD.
  • Familiarity with test automation frameworks (Selenium, ApexTest, JMeter).
  • Exposure to Docker or Kubernetes for build orchestration and deployment automation.
  • Understanding of Salesforce deployment models (Change Sets, Unlocked Packages, Metadata API).
  • Good knowledge of CI/CD best practices, release governance, and Agile/Scrum delivery.
  • Strong communication and client engagement skills; ability to lead small-to-medium projects independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce DevOps Center implementation experience.
  • Certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer I, or Copado Certified Consultant.
  • Familiarity with MuleSoft, Jira integrations, or security automation in pipelines.
  • Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or Azure Automation for infrastructure setup.
  • Prior work in multi-org Salesforce environments or enterprise-scale implementations.

Projected Total Compensation: ₹1,000, ₹2,500,000.00 per year
