Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, Mechanical/Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in sales, with a focus on technical or industrial equipment sales.
- Preferable Knowledge of sludge drying equipment/technologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Sales Engineer join our
India sales team (Multiple Location)
focused on sludge drying equipments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial equipment sales, a deep understanding of environmental technologies, and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. This role involves developing strategic sales plans, cultivating client relationships, and managing the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, and clients. This includes prospecting, cold calls, and maintaining close contact with target accounts. - Technical Expertise:
Provide technical expertise and solutions and prepare and deliver presentations and demonstrations for clients. - Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, consultants, distributors, and channel partners in the environmental and industrial sectors. - Market Analysis:
Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities. Stay updated on environmental regulations impacting waste disposal and treatment. - Contract Negotiation:
Negotiate and finalize contracts and agreements with clients to ensure a smooth sales process. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work with product development and engineering teams to align sales strategies & implement strategic sales plans to expand our market share and achieve revenue targets within the municipal and industrial sectors. - Performance Reporting:
Prepare sales forecasts, analyze sales data, and present regular performance reports to senior management.
