Job Title: Sales Engineer - Fire & Blast Protection Systems
Location: India

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Engineer with a background in Mechanical or Civil Engineering to join our team. The Sales Engineer will play a critical role in driving sales, securing orders, and developing strong relationships with major clients in the construction and infrastructure sectors. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in winning sales within large-scale construction projects in the region and demonstrate exceptional sales closing abilities. You will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Generation:

• Proactively identify and target potential customers within the construction and infrastructure sectors.

• Present and promote fire & blast protection systems to consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.

• Generate sales leads and develop strategies to close deals effectively.

• Work towards achieving monthly and yearly sales targets.

• Preparation of estimations, quotations, invoices and delivery notes.
2. Client Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring excellent service and client satisfaction.

• Provide technical support and advice to clients regarding product specifications and system capabilities.

• Conduct client meetings, site visits, and product demonstrations to secure orders.
3. Project Coordination:

• Collaborate with the technical team to ensure accurate understanding of project requirements and specifications.

• Coordinate with the Project Engineering and Operations teams to ensure timely project execution and handover.
4. Market Analysis & Strategy:

• Stay updated on the market trends, competitor offerings, and upcoming projects within the construction and infrastructure sectors.

• Provide insights and recommendations to improve product offerings and sales strategies.
5. Reporting:

• Prepare regular reports on sales activities, client interactions, and project updates for review by the Regional Sales Manager.

• Maintain accurate records of sales processes, deals closed, and customer feedback in CRM systems.
6. Compliance and Documentation:

• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regional regulations when closing deals and signing contracts.

• Handle all documentation related to tenders, proposals, and contracts in an accurate and timely manner.
Qualifications:
1. Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
2. Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience within major construction or infrastructure projects in the Middle East.

• Proven track record in closing high-value sales and achieving targets.
3. Skills:

• Excellent sales, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Strong technical understanding of construction projects, fire & blast protection systems preferred.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and project management software.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience in fire and blast protection systems.
2. Strong network of contacts within the construction, oil & gas, or industrial sectors.
3. Knowledge of regional compliance and safety standards.
